To benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Fenton Glass of Williamstown, West Virginia has provided a piece of glass art that has been hand pressed, hand formed and hand painted and will be raffled off on October 22.
This unique art piece will be prominently displayed at Saint Francis Hospital’s gift shop located at 333 Laidley Street in Charleston, WV. The public is invited to view this one of a kind piece of art and for a donation of $10.00 have their name placed in the October drawing. Saint Francis Hospital is a loyal supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. According to Dan Lauffer, Saint Francis CEO, “We are happy to be able to showcase this unique piece of glass art, but even more pleased to do what we can to support breast cancer research through the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Charleston’s Main Post Office Postmaster, Jonathan Litton, will draw the winning name on October 22. Mr. Litton has always believed in the positive effects of contributing to the community, both professionally and personally. Postmaster Litton has also promoted volunteerism among his USPS employees by coordinating volunteers to assist the Susan G. Komen Foundation in raising awareness for breast cancer research.
“We are very grateful to Fenton Glass for this beautiful creation,” said Rebecca Newhouse, President of the WV Affiliate of the Susan G.
